Marco had never missed a Dortmund match. But this one felt different. Just before kickoff, he received an anonymous DM: “Tonight’s game isn’t real. Watch closely.”
Weird but curiosity kept him glued to the screen.
The Klassiker kicked off, and chaos unfolded. Goals flew in, cards were ignored, and the ref looked… distracted. Then it happened: Bayern’s star striker missed an open goal—on purpose. Replays showed him glancing at the bench and subtly nodding.
Marco’s pulse spiked. He rewound it five times. No one else seemed to notice.
Then Dortmund’s equalizer came—an impossible goal from a defender who hadn’t scored all season. The crowd went wild. But Marco wasn’t cheering. He was watching the benches. The managers shook hands… before the final whistle.
