White’s current four-year, $70 million contract is set to expire after the 2024–25 season, with the final year valued at $20 million. Given his pivotal role in Boston’s success, securing his future with the team is a priority for the front office.

White’s contributions have been instrumental in the Celtics’ recent achievements. In the 2023–24 season, he averaged 15.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game, earning a spot on the NBA All-Defensive Second Team for the second consecutive year.
