Motocross Article

The 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season is set to commence on January 11 at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium, featuring a highly competitive lineup that includes five former Supercross champions and a four-time MXGP World Champion.

Among the Supercross champions are Eli Tomac, Jett Lawrence, Cooper Webb, Chase Sexton, and Jason Anderson. Eli Tomac, known for his remarkable speed and determination, has consistently been a formidable competitor in the Supercross arena. Jett Lawrence, the defending 450SX champion, returns with the coveted number one plate, aiming to maintain his dominance in the sport.

Cooper Webb, a two-time 450SX champion, is renowned for his strategic racing and resilience, making him a consistent threat on the track. Chase Sexton, who secured the 450SX title in 2023 following Eli Tomac’s injury, has demonstrated significant growth and is poised to be a key contender this season. Jason Anderson, with his aggressive riding style, adds depth to this elite group of riders.

Adding to the excitement is the participation of Jorge Prado, a four-time MXGP World Champion, who is making his full-time transition to the AMA Supercross circuit with Monster Energy Kawasaki. Prado’s move to the U.S. circuit has been highly anticipated, and his presence is expected to bring a new level of competition to the series.

The convergence of these accomplished riders sets the stage for a thrilling season opener at Anaheim 1. Fans can look forward to intense battles and high-caliber performances as these champions vie for supremacy in one of the most prestigious events in the Supercross calendar.

As the season unfolds, the dynamics between these seasoned champions and emerging talents will be a focal point, promising an engaging and unpredictable championship race. The 2025 Supercross season is poised to deliver exceptional racing action, beginning with the much-anticipated Anaheim 1 event.
